Laura Schleicher is an Internationally Trained Medical Doctor with extensive experience treating acute and traumatic wounds, complex chronic wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, post-surgical breakdown, and cancer- or radiation-associated wounds. She has supported a wide range of patients across outpatient clinics, surgical practices, and community-based medical programs.

No open wound should ever be exposed to shower water, tap water, bath water, or soaking.
All wound cleansing must be done using sterile saline or provider-recommended wound cleanser only.
If showering is unavoidable, the wound must remain fully covered with a waterproof dressing.
